Propagate the zz plant with leaves

Guys this is absolutely possible, it just takes longer to get a new plant because you're propagating from a leaf! It'll take around 6 to 9 months to get new growth. It also depends on what climate you live in. I live in Florida so this method is very easy and works every time.

Worked for me. But it took approx 9 months to produce a shoot with 2 leaves. I advise stem propagation for better results.

The leaves grew roots after 1 month. It has been 3 - 4 months after that and no growth apart from roots. I am still waiting because I have heard that zz plant grows at a slow pace.

Sadly mine always end up rotting. No zz propagation ever worked for me. Soil, granulate, water propagation, rotting every time or 3 months of no roots.

I’m just trying to figure out how to stop my zz plant to stop growing.. I’m in the biggest pot u can buy at Walmart.. I’ve had the darn thing for 3 years.. it’s never stopped growing.. I do not know what I’m doing wrong.. my zz plant is all up in this massive pot I got from Walmart. It’s biggest they sell .. it’s stems are 3 ft long, leaves are up to 3 inches on a lot of the stems.. ITS MONSTROUS! I thought it was a slow grower! I’m not over watering it! I water it once every 2 weeks, I even only give it plant food once every 2 months now during growth season.. I don’t know what to do with this thing but charge it rent for as much space as he takes up 😂😂 it’s huge! It has almost a hundred stems on it.. it’s Big! I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SLOW IT DOWN! Smh ideas!?!? What am I doing wrong? It’s in bright indirect sunlight.. I don’t sing to it.. it would straight up kill over 😂😂 everyone would 😂 HELP! Besides getting a bigger pot, which I can’t find, or pulling it apart and making 50 medium sized plants which I’m gonna do, I don’t want 50 MASSIVE PLANTS! Way this thing grows!! Is it just this plant being weird!?! Like a dna issue!?! Like what happens to some people!?! Wth!?! Anyone!?! Is it me or is this plant weird!?!
