WIO Terminal: An Arduino compatible board with screen and a lot more!

Today I'll be checking out the WIO Terminal from Seeedstudio. It's a programmable microcontroller with an LCD screen already attached with a bunch of sensors in it - with the option of adding more. With a little box of tricks like this, you can make a lot of interesting projects - but for me, I want to turn it into a useful tool for testing RC bits and bobs. As one of the things I often need to test are GPS receivers, let's start there.

Interesting device and I wish I had a better background understanding of the Arduino theater.

Pretty amazing little device indeed, Wayne! I liked it! 😃
It could be useful for many things!!!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Cool little Arduino device! By no means do I know what I'm doing when it comes to Arduino, but I do like to mess around with Arduino and ESP stuff and I've been wanting to build a little device like this to do exactly what you were doing with it. The $40-ish price tag is pretty fair for something like this. I might have to just buy this thing. Thank you!

Nice, I might have to get one to play with.

8:17... I do that by plugging a GPS into Teraterm. Easy-peasy.

For those not familiar -- If using an Arduino or other microcontroller for troubleshooting, be mindful that you are using the appropriate voltage for the device, don't want to use 5v pins from an Arduino on 3.3v logic like on some GPS units or your troubleshooting can make the problem infinitely worse. 😉
