Now in Nashville, we stopped off after a long drive from Memphis to try what we were told were the best biscuits in the whole South!

I’m a Brit who lives ½ a mile from loveless. They converted the gas station to a drive thru for biscuits. It’s crazy good

Miss Virginia is the epitome of Southern Hospitality, she treated the boys with respect and patience knowing this was all "brand new" to them. I love these travel videos watching them experience new flavors and combinations of foods. The tradition of eating a very large breakfast in North America (the Canucks do it too) comes from the need for working men to stack on the calories before heading out to work. One of my grandmothers cooked for the seasonal workers on her parents' ranch, while another joined great-grandma in cooking for loggers. Every morning at about 6 a.m., those men would consume up to 2, 000 calories, and have a dozen doughnuts, and a couple thick steak sandwiches in their lunch buckets. They worked off every bit of what they ate (obesity wasn't much of a problem here until the 1960's). My grandfathers and great uncles were all skinny as rails, but their muscles were as strong as the steel that makes those rails.

Our food traditions were arrived at honestly.

Born and raised in the deep south. Never, ever see people eating biscuits without butter. Slice in the middle, butter, then add jelly or jam! Yum! I've perfected making my grandmother's buttermilk biscuits. Nothing better! 👍❣️

the fact that ollie just put the biscuits with every possible combination really shows how good the biscuits are, like he knew he would still eat it and swallow it even if the combination doesn't work.
