The T-Rex roar at the end with the sign of "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" going down are still giving me chills to this very day. One of the most iconic scenes in cinema history!

Yo, MAD props to the cameraman for running back inside to get one last shot of Rexy. Balls of steel.

0:00 love the shot of the genetic code being projected across the raptors head. Symbolizing that this ancient predator has been unleashed back into the world thanks to science and curiosity going too far.

To this day, every time I watch this scene, gives me goosebumps every time.
The climax of the score, the T-Rex roaring with the banner poetically falling.
Cinematic masterpiece that will stand the test of time.

It's ironic:
The T Rex's iconic reveal was large thundering footsteps, but the common criticism about the climax is how it was able to sneak up on the raptors in spite of this.

In reality, a t rex no doubt was stealthy and could ambush prey.

The supposed "Dues Ex Machina" of the movie is actually the most realistic.

Respect to that second raptor. Likely knew she hadn't a chance in hell against the T-Rex but no way she was gonna let her packmate's death go unavenged.

Happy 30th anniversary Jurassic Park. It was a blast coming back to watch this scene after seeing the less iconic sequels.

I'm still puzzled why this looks more realistic than anything 30 years later.

2:01 “You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, from the other two raptors you didn't even know were there.” - Alan Grant

It’s quite poetic that the raptor made the same mistake. It stared at Grant, Grant stared right back and that’s when the attack came, not from Grant, but from the T-Rex on the side that the raptor didn’t know was there.

I don't care that the humans and raptors somehow didn't see or hear the T-Rex coming, this scene is one of the greatest scenes in movie history: the music, the animatronics, and for a movie from the 90s, it looks a lot better than many modern day CGI fests. And the scene of Rexy roaring as the banner falls down is just cinematic iconography.

This will always be my favourite movie of all time. The Dino’s still look so real in this movie. I watched this in the cinema when I was 5. I remember hiding behind my seat because I found it absolutely terrifying. I became obsessed with it and have watched it at least 100 times since😂😂. I even went to the cinema in 2013 for its 20th anniversary to watch it again.

There is an iconic moment in just about every scene in this film. So, so, so good.
