I totally agree. Liver is a great meal, and as you said, not expensive. Well done.

Love liver and onions. We bread our liver with flour seasoned with just salt and pepper. Fry in butter. Onions, lots and lots of them, cooked in butter too. Can't have liver and onions without mashed potatoes and canned peas. Love watching your videos!

Looks so good! I’ve always loved liver. My mom fried bacon first, then used the grease to fry the liver and onions. She also dragged the liver in flour, so it ended with a sort of gravy. yummy!

I tell my grandkids that Worcestershire sauce … is Wash Your Sister Sauce. They think it’s funny.

Love this recipe! I’m impressed that you are using 8 cloves of garlic! I love it but all too often recipes calls for 1/2 cloves so can barely be tasted!! Thank you!

I watched at least four or five other liver recipes and this is the best by far.

I learned this trick (marinating liver in milk overnight) in the 1970s. When I told people about it, most of them would go "ew, liver" but I took it to pot lucks and my body-builder friends loved it. Liver is great; I'm glad it's making a come back, especially now since I'm basically on keto.

Dude, I'm back! Let me tell you, mom NEVER used milk or white wine vinegar! As you know I'm not a cook but game for trying something new! I made it for the old lady...and mom with white rice. Mom asked for forgiveness and loves more! Hahaha
Thanks again!

Great video - one of my favourites. For anyone who might be interested, there are lots of places in the UK that were once Roman colonies and they have the suffix '...cester' such as Leicester and Worcester. The 'ces' bit is not pronounced so Leicester becomes 'Lester' and Worcester becomes 'Wuster'. The 'Shire' suffix as in 'Worcestershire' indicates a county rather than a city and the pronunciation of 'Shire' is something like 'Shur'. So - Worcestershire becomes 'Wustershur'. Or something like that. In England we just refer to the sauce as 'Wuster sauce'. Again greetings to friends in the US - God bless.

Brings back memories from my childhood. My mother was a wonderful cook and this was one of her staples in her repertoire.

I made this exactly as you said. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The Worcestershire sauce and the white wine vinegar really gave it nice little added spark of flavor.

I have seen chicken liver recipes and the southern cooks use buttermilk soak from 30 minutes to overnight time periods. The 30 minute counter soak worked good for 2 lbs of chicken livers to tame/tone down the strong bite. I know this is beef liver, but organ meat is organ meat.
Make sure the bile duct is removed, I found some processed liver with the green sack still attached.
Thanks for the simple ingredient recipe.
