How to install VSCode (Visual Studio Code) in a Linux Debian 11 System

(PS I run debian on a virtual machine on a M1 macbook, every step is the same except for the package you choose, I had to pick the ARM64 one instead of the regular .deb

Is it possible to download and use vs code without using the gui on linux?
Or it won't work without a graphical interface

Mine no give the opcion of "terminal" just installation of package, but i see this error " malformed entry 1 in list... Not assignment.
