How to Game on Linux

In this video, I show you how to game on Linux. While I do briefly touch on a great way to find Linux-native games, this video mainly covers playing Windows games on Linux. Although compatibility with Linux, for Windows games, is never guaranteed, using the tips in this video, you should be able to get most (if not all) of your games up and running.
All the software mentioned in this video is available in the official repositories of all the major Linux distributions (or at least the ones that are popular with gamers), so you should be able to get it from your distribution's package manager. If you're on Arch Linux or Manjaro, you can get PlayOnLinux from the AUR.

For running non-native games outside of Steam, I've had pretty good success with using Bottles to run things... though I just have a single Bottle set up for everything. It provides a nice GUI and makes it pretty easy to set get dependencies set up (e.g. .NET Framework versions) or install things like RPG Maker runtimes.

I suppose Lutris can probably be used to do the same sort of thing, but it's pretty nice to be able to just double-click a file and run it with Bottles once you have the Bottle set up.

1. Install Nobara Linux
2. Play Games
Nobara is a distro maintained by Glorious Eggroll, the creator of Proton GE

I've been playing pirated windows games (from torrents) on my Linux POP op system and It's pretty cool and easy using Lutris. I install and play using Lutris with no issues at all. I just keep forgetting to add the Wine Prefix file directory for it to run but now I learned that. I want to delete windows now and remove partition. Which video of yours can help me there?

If the drivers that were installed seem to be functional in my system, would you recommend to try the proprietary drivers?
