Want to know how to listen and remember?

It's actually pretty use when you use the Memory Palace technique correctly.

You see, I've always made it my goal to remember what people say. That's why I've spent a lot of time experimenting with the memory techniques needed to make it happen.

It comes down to more than just listening to remember.

You can still be a pretty bad listener and have everything work out.

But what you can't do is avoid learning how to retain information when listening. You need to understand how and why this works so that you can stop forgetting important details in the conversations you're holding.

It's liberating to be able to remember details without having to reopen tons of papers and books. I always enjoy the ability to pay online without having to take out my debit card from my wallet. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. I used a memory palace to remember details for a certification I took yesterday. Keep sharing the content Doc. It changes lives

Thank you for this video. It gives me some hope.

For sometime I've observed I don't remember well enough the details of the my friend's lives. I feel this more so now that I am working with people as a teacher/coach. My memory currently doesn't match the care I have for others.

I will get after the Peg system and memory palace.

Especially helpful info. I think I have always invented little tricks like this for myself, but your method makes it very systematic and powerful.

I was watching your video on indexing, I think you answered a big question I had. I wasn't sure if I should use the room that i was in, when I learned the information, as a memory palace. Now I'm off to find your video on remembering technical skills for work.

This is phenomenal! first thing i'll check out once i'm done with the Magnetic Memory Free Course.
I don't know how to thank you from uploading this tutorial. It's something I desperately needed as I had many struggles remembering what i've listened to on podcasts and videos, basically anything audio related. I've just bought a bunch of wireless noise cancelling earphones, this'll be an amazing technique to use while i'm listening to MMM podcasts while inside a car ride or during work.

Wow, this in one of those areas in life (conversations) where a trained memory really is a game changer! Extremely useful and I think this skill is, along with memorizing names and faces, may be the most valuable one to develop. I’m going to focus more on this area in my own practice. Thank you Anthony for making this video! Peace!

I find that it’s always easy to remember where I was having a conversation. So during a talk I scatter the elements of the discussion around the room. All I have to do is look back to where the conversation was held, and it’s easier to recall the most important elements.

Nicely explained! I want to know how to reuse the association infomation. For eg. I know "A" and I have associated "B" with it with some action now when "C" comes, I want to associate it with "A" but I have already use it for "B". If I do associate "C" with "A", after some days I am getting confused between "B" and "C". Can you please help with this?
