I do not have the patience or the gray matter to worry about min/maxing every possible sale and salvage. Here's how I burn through inventory junk quickly so I can make a buck and move onto the next event!

This video should be presented by Arenanet for new players. It's precise and professional. Actually shows you what to do as you're talking. Too many videos spend a lot of time talking about nothing because the person didn't plan ahead. This is the first time I've seen someone show how to make the Mystic Salvage Kit, and it looks so easy! You got a new subscriber sir. Keep it up.

This is a fantastic QOL guide for new players and vets alike! I've been playing since launch and I honestly didn't know about the Mystic Forge recipe. Thank you for putting this together ~ I'll definitely be sharing it with some friends who started playing with the Steam launch.

Been playing on/off since launch and never knew how to create a Mystic Salvage kit or how to make the the results more compact in the Trading Post. Really insightful and a lot of the hints & tips helpful to veteran and new & free 2 play players alike! Great job

if you put unidentified gear in a shared inv slot (swap with copper fed temporarly) they will not be salvaged by "salvage all", so no need to manually salvage the identified ones when inv space is low

Came back to GW2 recently after YEARS away, and was blessed enough to get one of these videos in my recommendations :D I feel lucky to get to be a ground floor subscriber!

Hey my man. Just found your vids, lovely and consice guides!
Just a tip tho: if you place a selling bid, don't undercut the competition unless what you are selling is completely worthless. If demand is high (for example ore demand is always high), in time the market will balance out on higher prices (to meet the supply line), so you can sell at even +15-20c/unit in instances. Most of the times you can drive the price up by 5-6c/unit, which in bulk can add up real fast!

Hope that makes sense, english isn't my mother tongue :p. Love the vids, waiting for more!

Subbed! Very good down to earth explanation of what to do and why. Right to the point. Keep up the good work! Maybe some more endgame system explanations or detailed crafting methods would be cool.

Dude this is a great video. I’m gonna have to watch it again later to retain all of the information but it was super helpful. I can’t believe you don’t have more subs.

A couple of thoughts and additional tips:
1. Put your pieces of unidentified gear into special bags or a shared inventory slot so they don't get salvaged by using the salvage all options of salvage kits
2. If you don't have a lot of space but want to bulk open a couple of unidentified gear: Use the "Use all" option and quickly close and reopen your inventory when you've opened enough of them by pressing your inventory keybind twice (it's the default "I" in my case). The closing of your inventory interrupts the "Use all" option and you can start salvaging the gear that you've unpacked.
3. Just send the depositable materials to your bank, even if you plan to sell them. This has a couple advantages: Maybe, you'll find out in the meantime, that you actually need stacks of those for something you want to craft and will be happy you kept them. Or you can put them up for selling in the TP in whole stacks, essentially saving time on the 3fps trading post window ;)
4. Tip for buying items in bulk: You can click and hold into the number field next to the buy button and move your mouse up or down to quickly change the value up and down. It's easier to hit that number input instead of the arrows next to it - especially if you use the high visibility cursors - and it's quicker than typing the exact amount or clicking on the arrows. It will automatically stop once you reach a limit (inventory slots needed for the bought materials, currency limits exceeded, daily limits exceeded).

Thanks! This is really helpful. Steam has expansions on sale as of today and I jumped back in after a couple of years away with 2 new expansion unlocks. One other thing I was struggling with was transmog/skin items. I bought a skin/glamour/transmog pack and the items both unlocked in my wardrobe collection... and remained in my inventory. Apparently I can just destroy these once they're in my collection. Not intuitive. Cheers!
