A customer recently told me that she didn't know what "Make One" (M1) means. It's really simple and in this video I will show you a few options to make one stitch.

Thank you so much!! Everything is finding online shows how to make the small hole with the bar or the yarn over & I’ve been trying to figure this out for days! This was great!! 🎉

This was the most complete and clear video on the type of m1's that can be used. Great job..once again!

I love the sample to give us a good idea of how each increase looks! I always enjoy your tutorials.

Because you knit the combined method, those of us who do English or Continental, etc. need to be aware that we often need to do things a little differently. When you say "back leg, " for instance, for most of us, that's the front leg (or the "right leg" for all of us).

Thank you... So nice to see a m1 on the Purl side as well. Nobody shows that.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. One thing that I appreciated that was not your main intention was the information about the extra wrap when you kfb. I'm working on a tank top and was supposed to M1, but my first attempt ended up with holes, so I switched to kfb. I noticed those little tabs on the back and wondered if I did that wrong, too, because I don't recall seeing that before! I came here to look up tutorials on M1, so I could follow the pattern properly, and am glad I decided to watch yours even though I'm not as comfortable knitting in the Continental style (somehow I knit too tightly when I knit with the yarn and needle in the same hand). I'm glad to know I wasn't doing anything wrong, but I'm still going to M1 instead of kfb.

IS there an issue with the video? Sound is okay but picture freezes.

Bjorn? You must be a Swede. My late mother was from Sweden...outside of Stockholm. Her name was Kerstin Dagny Nystrom. Enjoy your videos!
