BEST Export Settings for Instagram Reels // Davinci Resolve Tutorial

Instagram Reels have EXPLODED in the past year and these settings are absolutely crucial to make sure your content is at the highest quality it can be and in the correct format.

Hey thank you for tutorial. But you forgot about Audio Settings. In the stock audio settings there is no audio on instagram.

Thank you for the tips! The same happened to me too - having a selected clip and not noticing the selection before render. Then found that Render dropdown on the Deliver page above the timeline, next to the timeline zoom slider, that lets you select "In/Out Range" or "Entire Timeline". It makes it easy to select all the clips if needed, however, you lose the previously selected in/out range when you switch back. Hope it helps! :)

Which colour space are you exporting to? I've tried SRGB and Rec.709 Gamma 2.2. The video looks normal on my PC and phone, but then looks washed out and hazy when uploaded to instagram.

Using the same Bitrate will lease to bigger files, is that really what you want? You can upload any size, but I think IG will compress the file at any limit... What do you think?

So that does mean you set your bitrate to 45000? Other videos state a maximum of 3000 - 4000

nice video, just a question isn't 20k enough i found instagram tends to lower the bitrates to 16k anyways so at 45k im just taking longer to upload and it will be downsampled anyways.
