I think its sad that nobody sees the similarities between rue and cassie. Especially when it comes to their childhoods and less than healthy coping mechanisms.

Rue uses drugs, which isn't the only addiction by the way. In cassies case its love. Either way, they're both just trying to run from their fathers caused them.

yall dont really get it, its deeper than it seems and even if its just a show this thing happen irl so dont use as an excuse the fact that it is just a show because u dont get the meaning of the actions, not just cassie's, but of every character. she's been through a lot and that obviously doesnt give her the right to do what she did to maddie, but i guess if you havent been thourgh this shit you cant actually understand it and JUDGE it. i would just honestly give her a hug.
