Steve over at StokedOnSmoke (BBQ Bro's) sent a request a few weeks ago for me to make a video recipe of "Crawfish Etouffee". I told Steve, I would be happy to, so here is the video, and I hope you all enjoy, and please give this one a try! Soooo good, and easy to make! You can order Louisiana crawfish online at multiple websites, but here is a link to a site that has them available at the lowest cost that I've found, but please let me know if you can find a better deal online, and I will include that link as well.

This looks so good! One thing we do here in Breaux Bridge, LA - is empty the crawfish into a Bowl and add water to the crawfish bag and let it sit for awhile (it'll take the flavor from the crawfish fat that is left in the bag) and then we add that to your roux instead of plain water. :) C'est Si

I'm a Louisiana native and have been using this recipe for years now. It's absolutely amazing! The only downside is the fact that it's so good I refuse to eat any other etouffee. Thanks so much for taking the time to share. Onward!

There is a place on Washington ave. in Ocean Springs called Dino's that sells tons of nautical and coastal what nots. I've had this for years and not sure if you can still find it there, but they have a lot of stuff.

I wasn't kidding, we just got through eating this Etouffee. outstanding recipe, easy to follow and passed the test. the test is my wife. She is very picky and honest, brutally honest. She loves it! Thank you for another bullet in my recipe gun.

MAN! I'm down here at Disney World right now and just got your message that this posted. Now...consider all the cafeteria food I'm eating right now and then see this masterpiece! :) My mouth is watering right now! This looks absolutely amazing. You plate yours the way we do, with the rice on top where you can pull in what you need with each bite. Makes us want to go back to visit, we lived there a while in our younger years. Our children's first foods was rice and something. The etouffee was their favorite and ours. That sure did look good!!!

Looks Mighty Fine..They sell crawfish in my store..I have not tried it and not sure were it comes from i will have to look next time and see..I would love to try this..Cheers

Rus, just cooked you’re recipe and all I can say is “my oh my”! It was unbelievable! Best recipe I have ever had for this wonderful crawfish dish. I could have eaten the entire dish!

Thanks! I always make mine with a roux. I know a lot of people don't, but I really love the flavor, and the dark roux gives it a nice color. I hope you do make a vid! Would love to see that. Please let me know if and when you do, so I don't miss it.

I'm late to the party, but this is one of my fav dishes. Fine job making it Rus. I like the idea of adding clam juice too. Mighty fine! I gotta make me some of that stuff soon.
