I was in a car accident several years ago with my daughter she was in a Graco child's car seat for toddlers with the 5-point harness. We flipped three times in that vehicle and we all walked away thanks to seat belts and car seat, and of course Jesus angels. The fire department took my car seat and had it incinerated so I had to rent a car seat along with a rental car to get back home from Utah, yes we were out of state when it happened. I called Graco to thank them so much for their product saving my daughter's life and they sent me a brand new one free of charge

Not flexing. Just offering an insight.

My house is paid off as are our cars. We are in our 60s and are empty nesters. Still both work. Kids are well launched and doing well.

I could buy anything I want (within reason) at the grocery store but I still shop the sales for weekly menu and cook from scratch. I am hot mess and am not nearly as organized as you, but I put healthy, special diet needs meals on the table every night and have lunch ready for hubby (we work from home).

I spent $97.04 yesterday and got about 17 different fruit and veg, meat for 5 nights, snacks, pantry item and hair care products. Also got stuff to make and take to bbqs this weekend (3 pies, chips and salsa, potato salad, Mac salad and fruit and veg trays). Got tea bags for iced tea by the gallon and new Air filter for fridge water dispenser.

I have a well stocked pantry and stock up on sales.

Maybe being a child of depression era parents influenced me but money can come and go so it needs to be managed correctly. I’ve been poor and I’ve been comfortable but things happen when you least expect it.

To me it is all about balance. I am always anxious that things might change so I spend or don’t spend with that in mind.

My hat is off to you for opening your home and heart to kids who need you. That also means you have to plan for college expenses and the possibility some of the kids might be home all their lives.

From a content pov I would be fascinated to see you do a pantry and freezer challenge. You are creative and it would be amazing to see how much you could do while cleaning out the pantry and saving $$$$.

How often are your groceries broken, squished or ripped open? You throw the stuff so hard lol

You should save those bottles of hand sanitizer and just buy the big refill jug and fill them everytime the kids use it up.

If they are the same brand you can just swap the paddings of the booster seats. So Harlee can still have a pink one.

What a clean and well-stocked store that is! Everything is always well-faced off and so tidy. Kudos to the Managers and the Restock teams as I know a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes as well as on the shop floor.

Finding things at Walmart can be tricky sometimes.

I’ve found their app to be VERY helpful.

If you open the app while INSIDE the store…
then use the search bar to look up the item you want…
it’ll tell you exactly where the item is located (in the store you’re shopping).

Walmart has really stepped up there game lately. When we go to ours it is always clean and well stocked. Also, we were in Rochester visiting family last week and we were thinking of you! Cheers! First time at wegmans it was awesome 😎

You could buy those Italian dressing you add oil and vinegar. Try those I use avocado oil and apple cider vinegar. And use the dressing to soak chicken in .

Not asked for info😂😂but when putting meats in the bag, only do 2 and put them back to back so they can scan thru the bag, then flip it and get the other package. I'm jealous of your shopping. i just like to shop. I don't need the food necessarily, just like to shop lol and get ideas. Have a great day, everyone 😀

Hello, it might be more economical to price compare household toiletries and cleaning items before shopping Wegmans, Walmart, or Amazon. For instance, those individual Purell Sanitizer sprays are less expensive @AMZ when purchased in packs of 24, 36, or 48. They offer several variety packs with different scents to satisfy individual preference. Great buy on those Clearance Washcloths. The quality is better than the bundled ones.
