In truth my brothers and sisters we should always make marriage easy. How important is money when looking to get married?! Well in my opinion not as important as people make it out to be.

Saving is important but to save money for marriage, houses and cars does not make sense. Instead save to invest, save to have wealth, save to start a business. Be smart with your expenses.

Marriage should be started in a blessed way!

Twelve uqiyah is equivalent to 480 dirhams, i.e., approximately 135 silver riyals (134.4). This was the mahr of the daughters and wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). 
Shaykh al-Islam [Ibn Taymiyah] said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 32/194: 
Whoever thinks of increasing his daughter’s mahr and asking for more than the daughters of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were given – when they were the best women in this world in all aspects – is an ignorant fool. The same applies to asking for more than the Mothers of the Believers were given. This applies even if one is well off and can afford it. With regard to one who is poor, he should not give a mahr greater than he can afford to pay without any hardship.

I never used to agree with kameti and think it's a waste of time and useless but my mum made me do it and itl is very very beneficia amd helpful. l it's the wayi f save most of my money and it comes in very very handy. I don't seen any downside to it to be honest it's the way my grandma's got all her children married off and how the older generation done things and some of the things that older generation do you do have to give props to it and say that it is very very good

In Arab culture or iraq we spend about probs 100k this is including an engagement party, mendhi party and wedding and a jaffa and honeymoon . This all will costs probs 100k or 80k.

Salam bro, I am a bit confused about a situation and maybe you will be able to help me since you have or will experience this too. As a consulting business owner (you own a company that sells advices, not product): what is zakatable ? During the year, you pay yourself a salary and at the end of the year you have money on your bank account. For the money you saved and all your personal assets, you pay the zakat. That is the easy part. But what about your company ? You don’t actually own the money on your business bank account, if you want to use this money you have to transfer in a form of a salary (and pay taxes). I know you don’t have to pay zakat for your investments (computers, company car, phone, camera, etc) but I don’t know if I am doing the right thing by paying the zakat based on my personal assets only or if the money of my company banking account is zakatable or not and if so, what exactly (amount at the end of the year, profit, invoices, ..). I know it is not your domain of expertise but I have started my own company lately and I thought you would have more experience regarding this matter. I pay myself a very reasonable salary because I want my company to still be able to operate and not going to bankruptcy in case I don’t manage to generate any revenue during several months. Also, it could be that you have 30k on your business bank account and only 2, 5k on your private bank account because you lost your client and you know that if you don’t stop paying yourself a salary, your company will run out of money after few money.
