We all need money, but there's more important things that money simply cannot buy.

People who say money isn't important:

- From a Generation where a house cost $48
- Will inherit a house from a relative
- The ones who have plenty of it and forget
- The ones who were never without it

"Remember, money is a resource. If you have too little of it, you are always in need of it and it gains too much significance in your life. If you have too much of it, then you spend your life protecting it, managing it and keeping it away from other people. Indeed, in this situation, other people’s approach to money is a constant interference and can endanger your life and make money far more of a burden than it would be otherwise. That is why the rich are generally dominated by their relationship with money. Yet, the poor are also dominated by their relationship with money.

Here it is important that one seek to develop a meaningful balance."

A quote from one of my favorite books entitled *Wisdom from the Greater Community, Book 2* - Chapter 22: Money.

We spend 23 years on avg learning then we spend another 37 collecting it only to realise our body's remaining 20 years are too weak to experience all what we wanted

Making money isn't hard in itself... What's hard is to earn it doing something worth devoting one’s life to

People have to constantly strive to get a raise, because of inflation. You have to work harder and harder just to make the same amount of money... it's crazy.

This is exactly what I needed to hear this week. My dream job was to work for the railroad. One I achieved and earn a decent living at. This week I was presented with an opportunity within the same company, working the health & wellness department. Money isn't the end all to everything. I'm quite happy, but I see helping others will only add to that happiness in the long run. Thank you Aperture for your amazing videos.

The more money I made, the more I spent, the more debt I accured. This of course is not money's fault, but my own inability to control what I had.

I know money is important, especially in America but at one point a couple years ago I stopped caring about money, stopped caring about material things. Sure I still have to go make money but I only work and make just enough for my absolute needs and the rest of the time I travel the country. I can 100 honestly say that I am HAPPY. Sure I don't have much, I have almost none of the comforts or securities that most of you guys have but what I do have is tons and tons of life experiences. I dont spend my life working I spend my life LIVING. And it's beautiful. These past 2 years I've climbed 14ers high in the rockies, I've stared in awe at the redwoods towering over me, I've swam in all 3 oceans bordering the country, I've got to live and see what life is like in most major cities, etc. Sometimes when im alone I think "what if I just stop this and get a regular job and a home etc" and then I end up doing or seeing something amazing and I realize I can never go back. I've tasted freedom (or the closest thing to freedom I can achieve) and I can't go back to the slavery of the grind

Money buys security and that's pretty important.

If your life is like a journey, your vehicle only needs enough fuel to get to where you wanna go, any less you wont get there and in the pursuit if you just keep refuelling you lose the purpose. So treat it as a fuel, and remember money's only purpose is to get thru that journey, and not losing sight of where you are going

I'm 14 and I live in poverty in Australia and the first time someone gave me something for free I felt so happy I had something it was only a bag but I've had it for 9 years and I use it as a pillow because it reminds me i can still be happy even though I don't have money. but if I did have money [enough to buy a house and food] I would be a lot happier. I only went to school for a few years so I cant really punctuate anything lol.

"Money can't buy happiness" is often (not always) said by those who grew up not poor and/or who gre up fortunate or even privileged. In my opinion then, that's what I've noticed in my surroundings.

"Expend on experiences, not things" that is actually a great, great advice 👍

The best description in a systematic manner of my view towards money. Isn't life the sum of experiences? Live to have experiences, Even the smaller ones. Fulfill those as well which just aroused a random thought in your mind. Live, Isn't that why we are here?
