Let me point out that the name "Anastasia" originates from the Greek word "anastasis, " referring to the resurrection of Christ. Similarly, people are said to die and be reborn in Christ. Given that this came from a much older time in Disney's history, when they still would have adhered largely to Christian values, this may not be an accident.
