Homes washed out to sea as Fiona slams Canada

The hurricane that wreaked havoc in Puerto Rico and the Carribbean, is now classified as a post-tropical cyclone.

....and that was just one town in one province, but Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Labrador were also severely hit.

I never knew that Canada would get hit.

Also I can relate to the struggle since Dorian hit us awhile back (Grand Bahama, The Bahamas).

Definitely I never seen this part of Canadian shores destroyed like this and homes washed away.

This is just super sad. Hopefully everyone turns out okay. Natural disasters is just too much for us anymore, we could use divine intervention. Godspeed to those affected.

In response to others ridiculing "know your home, know your zone": Do you know where your elec. breaker box and gas shut offs are? Do you know where the safest part of the house is? (+Water food, gear, candles, radio there) Do you know where high ground is close? Do you know what roads flood over in your area? Do you know where the closest emergency shelter is? Do you know how to navigate/evacuate if main roads are blocked, interstate jammed? I've seen subdivisions that are waaay too big for the number of exits they have. They're not getting out fast! Do you have the right vehicle fueled up, checked, supplied and cash on hand? (Never buy fuel after torrential rain or flooding BTW. And cell towers go down in big wind, land lines get jammed-no card use.) Got dry clothes, boots and blankets? (Do not wade into flooded areas barefoot!) Does everybody know the plan(s)? Rallying points?

We were without power for 2 weeks in 2020 as a hurricane hit us in Alabama. The weather controllers are having a field day, sending the love to the north.
