Blimey, I got heavily in to these. The GMT was actually my first Vostok and it properly got me going into watch modding. Initially I found it to be great but ended up being unreliable due to balance wheel issues. I havent had the same issue with other vostoks though. I now have an embarrassing number of Vostoks but now find them way too expensive. I paid £70 for mine and that seems about right. Love them to be honest.

Great review i own two Vostok watches one being a vintage military issue communist era the other a recent diver outstanding watches great to see you covering these watches opposed to other stereo sites cheers from the UK.

I think I have four or five Vostok and also one Vostok Europe (made in Lithuania).

I used to own 2 Vostok but sold them several years ago in watch lots to thin out collection. I do like them but won't purchase Russian manufactured goods if I can help it right now.
