Nintendo DSi XL In 2023?! YES Its Still Worth It!! @EricaGriffin

It's been 3 years since i made that DSi XL video and it's definitely time for an update! I've been enjoying this thing so much, i often choose it over playing the latest and greatest games! i can't help it, nostalgia is a powerful drug.

I actually bought that exact Mario edition DSi a week ago just because i wanted to experience the DSi since i never had one when i was younger and it is really a blast! I have a New 3DS XL (the galaxy one) and i use my DSi to play Mario Kart DS download play with both systems with friends! I really liked how you could mess with photos that you take on the camera app, i don’t think that the 3DS had as many features as that one. I actually modded it so i could play my “backups” and use homebrew, a great system overall even without modding it since someone has revived online services through a dns in the internet settings

I still use mine. Got myself all the Ace Attourneys for literally 3 bucks each one, on a capcom apocalyptic, end of the E-shop sale, and also the first Monster Hunter Stories and Yokai Watch Spychic Specters.

Came across this video late but I grew up playing soul silver back when I had the ds lite and its my favorite pokemon game. Partly because I loved Pokemon The Movie 2000 that had Lugia in it but also the in game content was a lot. Even when beating the elite four I remember there was a lot of stuff to do afterwards and more legendaries to catch. I think ds had the best pokemon games in my opinion. I'm also eyeing a blue dsi xl simply because of the screen size. I found my old ds lite like a year ago and before it stopped working I found myself squinting lol, couldn't believe younger kid me didn't have an issue with the size. Regardless great video man and this definitely brought nostalgia.

everyone says they are IPS.... but i have it that they are not IPS just an upgraded TFT with brighter screens and better viewing angles. ??

I almost bought one of those. Then I remembered I had a new 3ds xl lol.
