The BEST homemade Jalapeño HOT SAUCE recipe EVER (mild to HOT & delicious)

I started making this hot sauce at home and can't get enough of it.
It is easy to make and wont last long (because you'll finish it in no time).

This hot sauce recipe will work with any chili peppers so go ahead and swap the jalapeños out for serranos, habaneros, ghost peppers, or whatever your heat level preference is!

I like this recipe so much that I have been giving people gifts of it. People finish it in less than a week in some cases.

This recipe starts off with a little short fermentation, then works with vinegar to pickle.

PRO Tip: if you prefer your hot sauce without pulp, once the time is done, simply strain over a bowl in a colander and press down on the pulp to get out as much of the liquid as possible.

If you take and heat up the tip of that funnel and just push it in just a little bit so that it has an air passage from the bottle to the top of the rim of the bottle you'll get way better pour through. Basically you're trying to form a valley along the spout so that air can flow through.
