My Botox Didn't Work: Botox Resistance Explained

Показать описание
Patients who are good candidates for Botox will always see results, whether it's after the first treatment or a quick follow-up treatment after 2 weeks (this is recommended for first-time Botox patients). If it looks like your Botox didn't take, first make sure it's been at least 10-14 days. If so, call us and we'll take a look and perhaps give you a few more units of botulinum toxin to help you achieve the results you seek.

I'm fully resistant to botox after eight years of use. None of the type A works for me anymore, including botox, xeomin and dysport. It seems like the only option is type B mobloc but none of the clinics in my city offers this for cosmetic purposes. Any other potential solutions? I used it to reduce my masseter muscles and I am very depressed.

I had botox injected at one place. I called and said it didn't work. This was at a month. She said too bad for you. I had my doc inject it for 2yrs in a row b4 I got it from this new place and it lasted 9 months both times! I think it was an open bottle. I was never asked to come back either. She shielded the bottle from me to bcvi was trying to see it as she filled the syringe.

I haven’t been getting Botox for more than two years. This last time it just didn’t work as well as the time before and I used exactly the same amount of Botox. I’m not gonna say it didn’t work at all, but not nearly as well as the time before. I wonder if you’re getting it at a time your body is fighting another infection if it intern fights, the toxin, so it doesn’t work as well

It's not true clients can build up an immunity to botox making it less effective
