I won’t be buying an iPad until they give the iPad mini 120 Hz refresh rate, I can’t be going from 120 Hz on my iPhone to 60 Hz on an iPad.

Got the mini 6 256gb about a month ago as well. I’m planning to sell it on eBay with apple care included and buy the mini 7 if it comes out this summer. I think I’d get way more money back selling it myself than exchanging it with apple. Apple doesn’t add on value for a larger storage.

Because the OnePlus Pad has a 144 Hz refresh rate for $479, Apple needs to bring ProMotion to the iPad mini and iPad Air.

Tbh, if the iPad Mini 7 came with the Pro Motion XDLR display that the iPad Pro has and the MacBook 14/16 has, and also add some sort of wireless charging, it would be the most sought after tablet device

Mini 6 pretty much can do all the things a need cuz most mini user are casual users… giving it high end specs will just bump the price higher… its more like a 6pro or 6s mini strategy

M1 still a decent chipset and any games can still run smoothly

My mini 2 is pretty much useless now. No support for any new apps past iOS12. Sad to have a (hardware wise) fully functional device, but unable to even install Google chrome. I mention this as a number of websites I like to use no-longer work on the mini using older apps. I'll hold out for a mini 7 though, regardless of its features.

They should make iPad mini a hybrid between iPhone and iPad by adding MagSafe and stage manager .

Not sure that Apple would create a keyboard case for a iPad mini. The best keyboard for an iPad mini would be a separate Bluetooth keyboard. An M1 chip would be awesome to pair this device with an external display.

ProMotion isn’t crucial, all they need to do is add M1 to allow for proper display use and it’ll be perfect
