I've said it before, and here it is again: the 10 speed era was BOSS! Shimano, Campagnolo, and SRAM, 10 speed were the sexiest stuff, still today!

The more I see videos like this the more I am convinced that I made the right decision in buying a 105 group set. The silver version looks good and works without issue.

The new 9200 crank is actually heavier because they’ve addressed the breakage issues. Guess time will tell though…

I have an 8 speed Dura-ace groupset that still works as new from the early 90s.

Hey Durianrider rear mech u had 10 - 20 grams of grease around those older
jockey wheels A good clean and it would have been lighter 😁😁

The Durace cranks look better than the SRAM's but that's it for me. I like SRAM old Red stuff, too.

That is why I am VERY fond of my circa 1996 Record 9 speed! Good stuff that is light enough and lasts forever. I get away with 9 speeds as I cut my teeth climbing in the Rocky Mtns with something less than a pie plate in the rear cluster. Its all attached to my De Rosa LUGGED COLUMBUS SPECIALE STEEL, BABY! What a retro crank I All this tech just makes up for a lack of gonads these days....the ladies used to love the triples, and nothing wrong with that!

I reckon the difference in weight is just the longer pulley cage… you can run a 34T on Dura-Ace now

Andy Hampsten's 1988 Giro win was Shimano Dura Ace's 1st grand tour victory.

Nobody needs 12 speed really, 8 speed Claris shifts just as good but is just heavier

Shimano killed Mechanical Dura Ace and Ultegra. We'll be forced into disc brakes and electronic group sets. Keeping my rim brake bike Tarmac SL5 with DA9000 on it. Just bought a new 2022 BMC SLR01. Disc brake only. Waiting on the new Dura Ace to come into the market so I can build it. I think the build will be right at if not under 15lbs. Keep you posted.

Hey Harley unrelated to the video but wondering if you’d be interested in doing a commentary on Charlie rocket, MPMD made a video on it think you’d be able to provide aninteresting and entertaining perspective / take on it for a video

Iirc 12 speed RD supports 11-34, maybe GC and KOM jersey contenders don't need it but everyone else will be happy 😂
