Here we use math and physics to predict the future! (with 10% or less accuracy)

Take a walk through the math involved with The College Board's AP Physics Lab (Investigation 2) on Newton's 2nd Law of Motion.

Here's the specific stuff you'll learn in this video!

Learn how to use ∑F=ma to calculate the acceleration for a modified Atwood Machine.

Learn how to collect measured accelerations from your Atwood Machine (get the slope of the best-fit line for the velocity vs. time graph of the accelerating system).

Learn how to compare your calculated acceleration with your measured acceleration with a percent difference equation.

Did you get around 10% difference or less???
If you answered "yes", then you've successfully proven Newton's 2nd Law of Motion!

You accurately predicted the future with 10% (or less) accuracy!!!
