Thank you.
Michael Faraday and James Clerk Maxwell were friends. Faraday did the experiments and observations that Maxwell described using quarernions (20 -21 equations), that Oliver Heaviside reduced to four equations in vector calculus.
With that history, maybe Faraday-Maxwell-Heaviside equations would be more fitting.

I wish Heaviside would be credited with the reformulation.
IIR, Maxwell's original set was 21 equations and 21 variables.

And those last two coukd be used to model electromagnetic waves. Which we predicted mathematically before finding them experimentally. And then they were produced and detected by hertz, giving rise to telecommunication as a whole. Pretty cool!

I like the geometric algebra formulation. Maxwell's equations become Maxwell's equation.

ive only looked at these equations before not understanding any of them but now they make so much sense like the divergence of magnetic field being 0. this means that the field lines that enter one point must equally emerge from another which. math is such a beautiful language and bravo for explaining such a difficult topic so simply and easily!!
