How to Setup PS5 Controller Gamepad Overlay in OBS (Console Hand Camera)

This video is an overview on how to setup an active graphical PS5/DualSense controller gamepad that will overlay on top of your gameplay.

As for now, this is a windows only method as DS4 Windows is required for this to work correctly. In the future OBS/SLOBS will update with accurate button mappings allowing Windows and Mac users to utilize PS5 gamepads without the need for DS4 Windows.

quick update, u don't need DS4Windows anymore, its all set to go since now Dualsense is fully suported on Windows 10

Thank you! Been trying to figure out why the controls were incorrect for awhile now! It worked for my DS5 but my Edge was wrong. Once I installed DS4 Windows all the issues went away.

I know the video's old, but this came up today in a streamer's chat. Once you've done this, do you have to reconnect to the PS5 if you unplug it from the PC, or the PC is turned off?

Okay so dumb question; when I hold down the ps home button and create button, my controller does not turn off, rather, on my pc laptop a Xbox menu shows up? How do I fix this?
