Following on from earlier generations, the New Duster is aimed both at customers who are looking for a comfortable, attractively designed SUV and those who want a robust, versatile 4x4.

True to its heritage, the New Duster is still a family SUV with a trailblazer spirit. It is the companion for everyday use and for adventures in the wide-open spaces. Its timeless design has evolved, especially in respect of its lights and grille, which give it an even stronger personality, and improved CO2 efficiency.

Inside it is fitted with a new high centre console with a retracting armrest, two multimedia systems with a new 8” screen. As versatile to drive as ever, the New Duster is available in 2WD and 4WD versions and can now be fitted with a dual-clutch automatic EDC gearbox.

The New Duster will be on sale from September 2021.

Had our Duster2 for a year now, absolutely delighted with it.lovely smooth 1.3 turbo engine, nice slick gear change, comfortable seats and good sound proofing. My wife and myself love driving this car more than most others we have had including jags and mercs, we are both now enthusiasts and wish the company well with their cars.

I bought the current model two and a half years ago - brilliant car. Just sold it on to my brother, who also loves it. Good value and well made!

Reading some comments it's clear that some people just don't get it. Dacia is not competing with other major brands, it's not marketed as it. It's a reliable and low cost car. With all the caveats we might expect from such positioning.

Have the latest version with dci. It is a great value package. Relaxed on the motorway, comfortable on our lousy roads, very economical for shape.

It is what it is. All cars are a compromise. If you want all singing all dancing look at other models with the price tag to match.

A few upgrades to make it even better,

Needs a 5-speed automatic transmission will be epic if it is Double Clutch

Needs a lock on the fuel cap

A sunroof that you can open in the LE version

Mirrors automatically close when you shutdown the engine and vice versa

Better sound system like Bose, Pioneer or Focal

Try to reduce the weight overall - 1393 KG is too much on a 2.0 Liter 135 HP Engine

Better noise reduction solution

Continues 4WD that doesn't disconnect after 80Km/h

A larger fuel tank like 70 Liter capacity

That will be all
I swear these upgrades are essential 🙏🏼

Wish they the duster 7 seater would come to Ireland 🇮🇪 they would sell out. I have my 2nd duster and love but changing 2022 to a 7 seater. And will have to change to another company

As always they didnt say the most important thing about the so called new (actaly quite old) ECS gearbox. It is only front wheel drive. For 4wd most likely they will leave it manual.
