GOP Sells Romney Out After Loss

"Republicans are over it.

And most of them aren't doing much mourning for Mitt Romney.

Just over a week since the two-time Republican presidential hopeful failed to deny President Obama a second term, instead of offering up condolences for a candidate who garnered 48 percent of the popular vote, GOP leaders seem to be keeping Romney at arm's length.

"I've never run for president -- I've lost elections but never for the presidency -- and I'm sure it stings terribly," New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie said in an interview Friday morning with MSNBC, but added: "When you lose, you lost."*

Mitt Romney lost the election and former Republican supporters are now turning on him, blaming him and not the party for the loss. Is this fair? Was there a more viable Republican candidate? Steve Oh (COO of The Young Turks) and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break down the realities of the situation.

ha, ha. he, he. Snort, cough, that's one of the funniest things that I have read in a long time. I really needed that laugh.

Quote from Romney "I like firing people!" I love the fact that the Repubs. tossed Romney in the gutter! I've had to fire people and frankly, I hated it. No one should like firing people even if the deserve it!

What is irrelevant? to be a constitutionalist? to be anti-war? to be anti bloated military spending? to be anti bailouts (aka theft)? to be anti NDAA? to be anti the misnomer "Patriot Act"?
I am proud to be irrelevant then.

This shows how unethical that party is. Shameless, shameless, shameless. No one will EVER vote republican again.

I have a idea, since the gop is so far away from reality they should just pretend romney is president. PROBLEM SOLVED.

I think the Republican party should not change, they should exactly do what they have done so far, for the next election. I am sure they will win with a little better ground game. Way to go Republicans and Fox news, we are all behind you. We will support you as we have done for years and years.

My sister used to work for a state level Republican rep. Part of her duties was to clip local and national news stories from the local papers in his district so he could stay informed on what his constituents were hearing while he was at the capitol. The one caveat was no stories that originated from a liberally biased news agency.

I always thought that was the same as sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling loudly at someone you didn't like and thought shouldn't be heard.

Megyn Kelly's quote to Rove was insightful: "Is this just math you do as a Republican to make your self feel better, or is this real?"

In many counties during the primary he did, Ron Paul actually won several states that Romney "won." But the RNC had promised Romney the 2012 nomination if he conceded to John McCain back in 2008. So they cooked the books to make sure he won the nomination.

The same Palin who thought Sadam attacked us on 911 and didn't know what the Fed was? LOL.

They also didn't mention Jon Huntsman. You know why? Because Paul and Huntsman were both massively unpopular within their own party. They were discussing who could have potentially won, and it's pretty clear that Ron Paul never stood a chance.

Cain was a threat, it wasn't until those "scandals" came out that he wasn't. Cain was simple and easy to understand, that is something that people will follow. That 9-9-9 thing was genius, sounded like something you'd expect from a franchise owner.

The GOP forgot Huntsman on their own list too

The Re Party is in disarray. The best way to handle internal dissent is to focus on a common enemy. Romney is disposible at this point, except as an in-common nemesis. If Obama had lost, Dems would have blamed it on him for being black while president.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary the term “racist” was coined by Leon Trotsky in 1930 in an article attacking the Slavophiles.
