This series hit me a lot harder than I could've expected, the relationship between Cornelia end Eli was beautifully crafted but so tragically short, and it really left me with a heaviness in my chest that made me very emotional by the end

Their chemistry together in the show was beautiful I don't know why but it made me think of Gone with the Wind for some reason. And the show itself has so many different and interesting lenses that really promoted the message of there always being two sides to a story althroughout.

In short this show is absolutely BRILLIANT.

One of the best shows I've seen...ever.
Definitely one of the most beautifully shot. Seriously, it's absolutely gorgeous. The story is well written with everything coming together at the perfect time without loose ends. The show doesn't hold your hand or explain every last detail of what's happening, but all the questions are answered if you simply take the time to watch and think. In the end, you will understand everything.

I almost never watch something I've seen twice, but I'll be watching this series again and probably again.

This is my first time seeing Chaske and he was amazing. His voice could lull me to sleep. Emily won me over with her acting in this series. Definitely one of the best. Their chemistry is undeniable. I'm so happy that I discovered this wonderful series.

There is so much history jammed into this series. Every time I watch it I pick up more. The conversation over tea at the telegraph company camp (The Buffalo Gun) covers the Scottish Clearances, the Jayhawkers (Red Legs) in the Kansas/Missouri Border skirmishes, Indian Residential schools, in addition to plot points tying the characters to events of earlier episodes. This is great to see Emily and Chaske discussing this scene. Just fantastic, from start to finish.
