Channel 4 Generic Ident 2023

My, my! Looks like the first new @Channel4 ident is an update to their generic one introduced last year. The only changes made were the colour of the 4 which is white to green, the way it's animated & the music!

The way the logo animates reminds me of the BBC's logo animation, because just like each of the BBC block's animation is offset by 1 or 2 keyframes from each other, the Channel 4 blocks animate like that, most of the time anyways.

I think the jingle at the beginning sounded much better in late last years ident. Actually, the entire music sounds much better in last years version.

I'm not looking forward to the rest of the channel rebrands. Channel 4 is just going to name EVERYTHING as channel 4
