Thanks for your video. We all know the derivative of sinx becomes cosx. and derivative of curve like 2x square become 2x which is straight line. Kindly explain what does mean in practical examples?

Many have doubts as to why fixed cost is x*x. Here is a plausible explanation. If you are manufacturing a pen, if you are manufacturing small units, you can do that at home. However, if you need to increase production, you will have to rent out a place and get licenses. If you need to increase even more, you will have to hire managers, construct a factory, get pollution control certification etc. Also, as you need more funds, you will have to borrow more, and the interest rate will increase. You could borrow a little bit you can borrow from bank, but if you need to borrow a lot more, you many have to work with pawn dealers who might charge daily interest.

This assumes that there exists a relation between x and fixed cost and that relationship is x2.. but in most cases that is not true.

Fixed cost is not Variable. It should be represented by Numbers directly.
I 🤔 cost function was wrong.

It can be computed in cost accounting without differentiation.
