I think you are the best jazz guitar teacher, you really get to the point and you have a very rational approach, without getting too many complications that make playing more difficult actually😂

You continue to offer such accessible content in such a profoundly simple way. This is my new practice regime for the rest of the month, getting all these sounds and colours under my fingers and in my ear. Thanks Marc!

Thanks Marc…as always very practical advice. I would add having a method for deconstructing the fretboard…like CAGED…is good but not always optimal. The Guitar is like tripping through a Forest. There’s an infinite number of ways of getting through the Trees, some are easier than others. Be safe…thanks. Joe Diorio does a nice job talking about use chord fragments as lead lines. Your 3-7 inversion is one…Wes played numerous chord fragments, including inversions. The Chord forms give you all the basics of harmony…the work is learning how to use that harmony in your playing. Thanks for all the hard work, and the JGF site…I learned a lot from you over the years. Take care…Winter is Coming😊

Nice video but link to the staples is incorrect. Links to JGF video rather than resources.
