In this guitar lesson I'll show you a very cool little exercise to get you working on your I VI II V progressions - using chordal extensions, substitutions and furthering your knowledge of chord melody.

Excellent lesson, Justin! Pick any string to go up chromatically, then in your 1, 6, 2, 5, 1 progression just make sure your chord contains that note on that string. Fascinating concept I had never thought of!

Justin...This is just what I was looking for....I don't understand the relationship all these chords have with each other, but they're new chords that I can use in melodies I originate. New fingering positions for many keys! Your ONE video is full of new chords that I'd be searching many sites/videos for! Thank You!
