Yuuummmm!! I grew up with avocado toast in the late 80's and 90's, though not as amazing as this!, and I cannot believe how much ppl pay for basic avocado toast. This looks amazing

Regarding the pistachio machine: You must be lucky. What a adorable machine that even calls you dad. I also had a pistachio machine ones. He was 6 feet 4 and ran on beer. He called me "sweetheart" and he put ALL cracked pistachios into his own mouth. I ditched him and now I do the pistachio cracking by myself. More work for me but also more free space in the kitchen. 😅

Ok Andrew, you had me at ‘upscaling’ avocado toast. 🥑 Main stay in my house, but also my daughters house with my grandson. We always have a number of avocados loitering to be made into avo toast, on Sammie’s or just spruced up a touch, with sourdough discard crackers. Perfect timing for this arrival as I’m putting my market list together…only thing I don’t normally grab is the butter beans. Not sure why exactly since I’ve used them in another recipe of yours and thought they should be a regular addition to the twin pantry! Flavors all sound amazing to me, and huge plus is that I’ll have leftovers for the next day that will have melded, blended and matured to be a bigger explosion of taste! 💪🏻😋
I so look forward to these Sunday mornings! The main recipe without narration during the process, with discussion of subs after, helps with my visual learning. I no longer have a ‘nut shelling machine’ at hand, but thankfully I can purchase small amounts at bulk when needed.
