I do have avocado toast for breakfast but I make my own bread. I make my bread with coconut flour, olive oil, baking powder, and water and it is delicious. I don't have eggs with it. Just coconut flour bread with goat cheese and avocado with salt and pepper. I love it and it keeps me feeling full for a long time.

In the old days, people ate whatever they wanted and three full meals as late as 10:00 pm. They weren’t obese nor sick all the time like today. That is because they had all organic food free of all the stuff that gets injected and mixed in our food today. People also moved more. they didn’t spend half of their day watching tv or slacking.

1/2 an avocado (bit of salt/pepper/onion powder), mixed with some lemon or lime juice, and 1 slice of low-carb / no carb bread is a great snack and not terrible way to start the day compared to other options. Definitely mix in some crispy bacon or other keto friendly topping (fried egg) if you wish!

I eat Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted bread. I have stomach issues with all bread except Ezekiel and Keto breads but I like the taste of sprouted bread better when toasted. It has no flour or sugar.

Can we actually eat anything without worrying about it might kill us? I know food is pretty much out of option at this point.

My avocado toast contains
- Whole wheat bread (I use a variety with a lot of seeds in it, which also has protein)
- Avocado smashed on the bread
- Tomatoes (I’m currently using yellow and red homegrown tomatoes)
- Tiny bit of salt (optional)
- Cracked pepper
- Fresh cheese crumbled on top! (Has protein)
I used to not put crumbled cheese on my avocado toast because I’ve never thought of it, but one day I saw a photo of avocado toast with the cheese on Instagram. It’s a game changer! Makes it so much more delicious! I recommend

Ain’t gonna happen. I love my avocado on my own sourdough bread… If I listen to all these “don’t eat this, eat that” then there would be nothing else left to consume.

I replace my bread with romaine lettuce l put whatever in it and eat it as a wrap !

So basically he's telling us to never eat a sandwich. Then he goes on to recommend 'named brand' "alternatives" that he no doubt gets a kick-back on. This guy never fails to disappoint. Is it any wonder why Americans have little trust in doctors anymore.

What bread are you looking at that has 4 tsp of sugar per slice? The bread we have in our pantry has 2g of sugar per slice, which is equivalent to 0.5 tsp of sugar. Just thinking about this rationally, this makes much more sense than two slices of bread having more sugar than a candy bar. Dr. Gundry, I like you a lot, but I find this information misleading and maybe overtly wrong.

It depends on what type of bread you eat, not all types of breads contain a high amount of sugar

i love avocado toast, with gluten free bread..i baked my own bread with a mix of almond flour and coconut flour, no gluten. I try to eat natural food not packaged processed food where possible.

Would be more helpful if you gave us a bigger list of what is good and how to substitute what is bad. Lots of good questions unanswered on the chat. Just hard to make decisions when we know so little about it.

Only for American bread bc in one slice of bread from the Netherlands is 1/4 of a theespoon sugar and in American is a slice of bread eight full theespoons of sugar.
