I dig what the Ipad does and it is consistent hardware. Sadly it can not keep up with what Samsung provides with Dex Mode. Dex Mode's only limitation is the amount of apps it allows to fill up the entire screen. Your video was helpful in regards to the app shiftscreen though. been debating on gettin the 12.9 ipad since the mini is too small for my use

Excellent video! I use my M1 12.9" iPad Pro + magic keyboard as a laptop replacement, too. When I project the iPad screen onto my desktop monitor, I use a Keychron K3 keyboard. It's wireless with low profile mechanical key switches. I type a lot faster and more accurately on it compared to the Apple keyboard in your video.

Great video! Hopefully when the new iPad update comes out at the end of November, you won't need that app. The update should finally give us the right external monitor support like it should have from day 1.

YOu can make shift screen app much smaller if you want to use your iPad screen.

I’m a student and i was wondering if i can do this but like having the monitor as a 2nd screen for my ipad ? for example playing the recorded lecture on the monitor while taking notes on the actual ipad ?

The fact that Apple does not allow the iPad Pro to work in a progressive multi-flow - multi (full) screen way is problematic. What exactly is a Pro version for, It's very restrictive?

You are spending like about the same or maybe more money on a setup that is less capable of running professional software, in trade of portability and touch screen, compared to macbook air. I don't think this is an idea for most of the users. Shiftscreen is not a long term solution. We don't know when Apple will make tech changes that might break Shiftscreen. This kind of thing happened before. If one need a laptop, just get a laptop
