Do u need to remove the keyboard to write something down ? With Apple Pencil ? Meaning like can u put the the keyboard “backwards” or to lay it flat on the table or u need to take the iPad out of the “case”. If u know what I mean

Trouble shooting suggestions for us. Our IPad Pro will sometimes only allow the pop up keyboard and in fact a message will appear “Accessory Not Support” even though we’ve been using our keyboard accessory for years. We’ve tried cleaning and turning OFF/ON. Why does the keyboard accessory seem to randomly quite working?
