This isn't a criticism specifically at you, rather at the 'health industry'. You do not need to supplement sodium, especially not in a 1-3% concentration. I'm a final year med student, in hospitals the most commonly prescribed fluid is 0.9% sodium chloride, which is already of higher concentration than your normal cellular sodium - hence we try not to use it for too long of a time otherwise people get raised sodium.

There is more than enough added salt in vast majority of the food we eats. The only exception is in long endurance activities, when you sweat out a lot of salt, these are the scenarios where a bit of added salt in your rehydration fluids can help - but not in day to day life!
