Unfortunately, I was one of those people who didn't really need the second book :( It was enjoyable, but it was just so see Atlas and Lily happy together. Not that I don't want that. It's just Atlas was in the first book kind of the mysterious guy and we didn't really know what happened between Lily and Ryle and so the "open" end had room for interpretation (which is something I'd prefer). Nonetheless, cute read!

HAHA WHEN YOU PUT ZOOMED PICTURES OF ELLEN😭. I've been switching back and forth between 3 and 4 stars since I read it on Monday (somehow my pre-order got sent to me a day before it actually released). I'm probably sitting at a 3.75 star for now. I loved getting to know atlas more and getting more about his family/history. This book overall was so sweet and healing. There were so many important parts and quotes in this book that I tabbed the crap out of too lol. All that being said, although I did really enjoy it and flew through it, I don't personally think it's an absolute MUST-read for everyone like IEWU was. There really wasn't much plot which I'll admit did bore me a bit for the first half or so. I think it's a cute and healing extended epilogue for fans of the first book and colleen hoover. But also, with that being said, if anything else is released with any of these characters, I WILL read it immediately. I would scream for a book about marshall and alyssa or even a romance novel about future josh. I get so giddy reading about atlas and will settle for nothing less than how he treats lily 🥺SPOILER BELOW***


Also, their joined family at the end had my heart bursting 😭🤍

I LOVED every second of this novel - it was absolutely beautiful, it showed how relationships truly can stand the rest of time and that’s something that is so evident in Lily and Atlas’ relationship. It had its imperfections, which made it realistic but overall, it was beautifully written and ended in such a satisfying, almost fulfilling way. 5/5 stars for sure!

I loved the second book simply because I loved Atlas in the first book and Lily going with him instead of Ryle was the only right option! 4 star read for me (cause I had to suffer through those Ellen letters AGAIN)

lowkey think the ellen part was because her favorite movie is finding nemo and her favorite character was dory which ellen voices, i kinda loved that she addressed it to ellen personally especially if you think about it from a young teens point of view where it was her way of being able to write down her thoughts cuz sometimes its hard to allow yourself to write, I know for me it was and it was the way she found herself able to do it.

Ellen 😂 it’s so funny bc those letters were actually one of my favorite parts of it ends with us! But I’m more excited for it starts with us after watching this because I’ve been seeing some negative reviews, but it sounds like it’s going to give me exactly what I’m wanting from the book

i love that you said colleen hoover is like a gateway drug into the reading world.. i just got into reading this year. never in my life have i tried to read (except for fanfiction LOL) until this year (im 21), but my sister had "it ends with us" on her amazon wishlist and i bought it for her for her birthday and then i started seeing it everywhere on tiktok and i decided to give reading a try for the first time with that book. and i loved it!! i read verity right after and loved that book as well. now Ive read 5 books so far and am currently reading 2, and I have a huge Tbr, lol. colleen truly made me a book nerd! it ends with us will always have a special place in my heart 🥲

This was a 5 star read for me I’m in love with every character except Ryle he’s disgusting uggg 🤮 but Atlas and Lilly were amazing I love reading about their wholesome romance it’s so cute and the end the letter in the form of Atlas’s vows to Lilly is so unique to their story with all the letters I’m obsessed!! the book was like a super long epilogue with a happy ending 😂 but I have the highest standards for men if he doesn’t treat me like Atlas I don’t want it😢 I just like how innocent the love in this book Is so cute ahhh❤
