FINALLY: 3 Watch Brands Coming Back in 2024

In this video, I share three watch brands that I think are positioned for a come back in 2024. Throughout the last few years, especially with microbrands becoming popular, watch brands that did not strive to captivate collectors and enthusiasts fell by the wayside. It is a new year and these 3 brands I believe are ready to throw their hat in the ring with Rolex, Patek, and the others.

Nice to hear you say panerai is coming back. Bought my luminor almost 20 years ago - I still love it and wear it in rotation, with 4 or 5 different Panerai straps. I see they have clasps now - cool! Dropped mine off at the P boutique here in Toronto last week for servicing - I’ll look at further strap options when they’ve done their work in 6-8 weeks’ time!

I bought that same panerai you're wearing a few months ago, love it, waiting for the hands on review!

Welcome back John! The only thing I know about modern Piaget's history is they hired and trained a young neophyte to the watch industry-- Federico himself! So could you do a video sharing what you like about Piaget from a collector's point of view? Also, do you have an update on what Breitling is doing with Universal Geneve in 2024? Ciao!

I have a Piaget Polo S chronograph blue dial. I think they were a bit late to the luxury/sport watch game but I get that Nautilus or Overseas vibe at a fraction of the hype brand price. The finishing front and back is next level though and the line is positioned midrange between Vacheron on the upper end and Cartier on the lower end within Richemont. Shame that it doesn’t get more love but I think that’s changing

Great video. Got my Pam1365 BiTempo a couple of months ago. Finally a 40mm size, 12-hour GMT, 100m WR with the easy strap and buckle change system. Strange they aren't blowing up the marketing with their new mid-year releases. Should implement better marketing. Panerai is back but they aren't letting people know. Highly recommend the Miami Boutique - always a very pleasant experience.

I own a couple of Blancpain watches. Big fan of the brand.

I went to a Panerai boutique recently in La Jolla, California and the staff was amazing. True watch nerds like myself. Actually turned me onto a brand I never considered for myself. There may be a Panerai in my collection in the future.

I’m rooting for Blancpain. That 36mm Air Command is a dream.

Panerai got me in to watches, so I hope they have a bump in 2024. Love my Panerai's!

Love my DUE….. fits the purpose that I bought it for 😊

Piaget are sweet, a bit to pricey for my taste

Blancpain is top notch, lots of cash for most models….

Great video and spot on with e straps comment. They look good with many type of straps. I have the black dial or 01372 and have 3 straps with it. Hope they come out with more quarantas.

Bought my Quaranta just when it was released and have been loving it since! The smaller size really makes it wear very well.
Edit - the exact one from your thumbnail. Though finding official straps has been a nightmare. They’re always sold out in storeand online in london

I’ve always found Piaget interesting and have always been at the cusp of acquiring one. I agree that getting smaller and more contemporary designs will go a long way into making them a more relevant player. Their market price placement remains a challenging hill to overcome considering the competition in that segment.

I love Blancpain and my Villeret is one of my favorite watches in my collection. I’ve never understood why they aren’t able to design a more modern diver that isn’t a gigantic lifesaver on the wrist. Success seems to be within their grasp with a 40mm or smaller design if they so choose to seize the opportunity.

Panerai have been making rubber and leather straps in numerous colours for years, i have been buying straps from around the world for years. I think the brand is doing great things now at numerous price points and people need to experience them personally instead of reading blogs from people with personal agendas against certain watch brands. I think Panerai and IWC are killing it

I didn't feel very special in the Vegas boutiques. And I was wearing a Panerai! But then again, it is Vegas.

I love Panerai as a brand and design, you have the money you pick what you want and leave, NO waiting list and playing games with customers.

Hello Watch People ❗️
Watch Brands they go up and down and Panerai and Blancpain are not the exception as watch enthusiasts Panerai is part of my collection I own a Pam270, Pam00979 and Pam564 those are my Fat Lady’s

talking about Blancpain I like the Fifty Phatoms but is something that I can’t connect with that watch try the titanium feels better on the wrist
The Blancpain that I love is the Fifty Phathoms Barakuda what a beautiful watch unfortunately is out of my price range I hope 🤞🏻 Blancpain consider making this model as regular model and not as a special edition

Cheers from Palm Beach

Bought my Quaranta PAM01370 in 2022. Walked in the boutique asking for the white dial like the one you are wearing, left with the blue one on my wrist.

HNY. Excited to hear about the new Panerais and congrats on yours. I love their white dial divers. Prices are still a bit of an issue.
