What to name safety and safe work documents, a best practice approach
Safety and safe work documents end up with many different headings or names, safe work procedures, safe work guides, safe work practices and more. How to name your safety documents is almost as important as what you put in them.
There are all sorts of different names for safe work documents – safe work guides, guidelines, procedures, practices and on and on. It seems as we make efforts toward simplifying documents we sometimes make things more complicated.
We need to stick to the basics! Keeping simple will attract and retain an audience if you keep it simple people are more apt to adopt this safety thing we are constantly trying to sell! So, let’s look at how we might do this.
In this video I am going to outline what I have found as best practice approach to creating a modular set of safe work documents to include safe work procedures and safe work guides. In addition I will give you a suggestion regarding the use of “safe work practices”
