It's amazing how excel can cover the scope of almost every other program, work as a tool for scheduling, data collection, BI, I've even used it to sketch scale drawings and communicate ideas to engineers so they could deal with the CAD files. Even pulled permits for construction projects from pdf drawings created in excel and nobody knew it wasn't an autocad based drawing. It is my root task list for project management with task templates to jump into any type of project with a simple copy paste into MS Project as well. If there is one place I would recommend my staff or those I collaborate with to put time aside for constant improvement it would be excel. Master one to communicate with many others, you could say. One of the best time management tools available once you have a reasonable level of user knowledge.

Nice! Thank you for sharing this. What i think is missing here, is that dates that have activities should been colored. That way it will be easy to look up dates that you have activities in. Do you have a solution for this?

Great video! I’m not sure if you are still checking these comments, but if you are… I am very much a beginner with the VBA. What would be the approach to have three columns for daily activities? One for when something happens (maybe with drop down list), one for what happens and the third column for who does something. I have messed around with changing the ranges in the code with some hilarious consequences! Would you need to save every third column in year tab or make three tab per year? Cheers and keep up the good work.

What should I do if I want to separate activities by copying the Schedule sheet? (But still located in one workbook)
As far as I try, I paste the copy one at the same workbook.
Therefore My workbook also has 2 Schedules.
There are schedule sheet and Schedule (2) sheet in the same workbook but
I don't know what to do. It seems like Schedule (2) links all of the activities that I create for the original one.
By the way,  You’re the best Excel expert ever! It's kind of cool awesome and useful.

I stumbled across this video today and it's exactly what I'm looking for...except, I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to keep days highlighted in the calendars if there is a corresponding activity documented on that date...instead of having to click on each day to see if there is any documentation. Thanks!
