For pipes I like to have an edge and bevel it then convert it to curve and thicken it. Convert back to mesh if needed

instead of rotating the edges like that, dragging the vertices outwards to make the slope works too right? Well, for cubes at least. Cylinders definitely need that tool, and i WISH i knew it sooner

Blender is great but it has tge worst manual ever. You cannot learn by reading dry short explanations. Basically without tutorials you're lost
