Moto X vs. iPhone 5S

The Moto X and iPhone 5S are two smartphones that use their efficiency to their advantage. Instead of using raw power that these two lack they maximize their software and hardware with the limited resources both of them have.

The iPhone 5S is running Apple's new 64-bit A7 chip alongside a M7 Motion Co-Processor while the Moto X is running a Dual-Core Chip in Motorola's X8 architecture that has eight total cores. These devices are very intelligently polished, both of these manufactures have spent a lot of time making the software optimized for the hardware. Apple has total control over what goes in and on their devices while Motorola now being operated directly by Google is benefiting from an almost vanilla Android experience.

Decent review, definitely a fan of the arrangement and neat nature of each comparison. But I'm pretty sure the Moto X was not $150 off contract. Lastly it seems this reviewer put Siri on equal ground with Google Now which is simply outrageous, maybe he was only referring to voice recognition but I digress. Good job dude.

Good comparison! I love these two phones, because they completely ignore the spec race and are still two perfectly usable and smooth experiences, which deliver the best side of their operating system. Moto X and iPhone 5S seems like mature phones in my eyes. Compared to the Samsung toys, which just brings in thousands of "cool" features and sees if they stick to any part of their target group. Kudos to Motorola and Apple!

That scroll lag in Chrome might be explained a little bit by the way Chrome scrolls through webpages compared to Safari.  Safari only scrolls a tiny bit down the page no matter how hard you flick the screen because it is scrolling down to what it has already rendered.  Chrome scrolls different amounts depending on how hard you flick the screen which will cause it to scroll past the images that have been rendered, causing it to render these images.

Funny. I'm an android/snapdragon guy everyday of the week but it takes a real dummy to say the A7 isn't powerful. Pretty sure it outperformed the Snapdragon 800 in several areas.

Is this a joke? I had both phones and returned the Moto X after 5 days with it. The iPhone 5s is one of the most powerful phones on the market with an awesome CPU and GPU, rock solid build quality, one of the best cameras around and it gets updates from Apple day ONE, not day 19. The only thing the Moto X is good for are people who can't afford an iPhone.

Yo bro I love that your videos are getting better but bring up the aperture so we can see the whole phone. You'll still get great depth of field at 2.0 or 2.8. But you keep getting better every video Krupp up the great work.

Dude that shallow depth of field is kinda distracting, suggest you use or do reviews near a window and use that as a main source of light
