Moto X Review (Verizon)

The Moto X is the first to come from Motorola since being acquired by Google. With the Moto X, the company decided to build the device in the United States and provide customization. Moto X has middle of the road specs, but you would never know it after using it for some time. Motorola has a solid phone, with some very nice features not yet available in the stock Android world.

Nice review. Interesting to see the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen just like my Galaxy Nexus. It leaves the phone very uncluttered looking. One question what version of Android does the Verizon variant ship with? 4.2.2 or 4.3 Jelly Bean?

cant get the bluethooth to pair with my headset. Tried several times. I know how to pair and have done so like 30 times in the past any ideas would be nice.

My volume button is loose and rattles when vibrating. Is this normal?

Nice job on the review.  I have had mine for about 8 months now and still love it.  One thing you mentioned but did not elaborate on is that you can listen to incoming texts and reply using voice commands only while you are driving and it works very well for me.  Essentially, you have two options with this, have it send an automatic text that just says something like "I'm driving and will text you back as soon as I can." or have it ask you if you want to reply.  If you choose to reply, it will listen to you and type what you say into the reply, then say it back to you for verification.  If it's good you say yes and it will send it off for you, all without touching your phone or taking your eyes off of the road.  Just make sure your cabin is generally quiet when your phone is listening to you and all will go very well.

This phone is overpriced. Not a fan of the built quality either. I heard the Moto X is getting a software update, which will fix the camera software inconsistency.
