I finallty upgraded to a new gaming monitor. This is the LG 27GL83A-B gaming monitor. It's 27" and has a 1440p resolution at 144Hz. It's a monster, but does it work?

Its crazy how 1440p and 144hz feels. I used to play on a 27inch 1080p 60hz monitor thinking to myself is the difference even that noticeable? I thought it was smooth and sharp enough....but now that I have this beast monitor side by side I can't believe I used to play on the old monitor...

Just purchased this monitor today on Prime Day for $284.99 and I'm excited to finally have a 1440p monitor. Someone suggested I get it while it's $100 off so I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. Should have it by the weekend. Bought this monitor with my first build at the beginning of this year and I am NOT disappointed. There are only like 3 4K monitors that have more than 60hz but they're all over 1K. One thing that's worth mentioning is that it is an IPS monitor that also features HDR AND a 1ms response time, which is uncommon and super awesome. Even for $379, it's worth it.

THis is the monitor I ended up deciding on for my new PC (3070 GPU). It's amazing. I hadn't originally planned to spend this much on a monitor, but the monitor, along with the keyboard and mouse are how you interact with the PC. I wanted a display that would let me enjoy what my new system could do. I considered a 32 inch, but that would have been uncomfortable to use from the distance I view my monitor from. Even this is taking a little getting used to.

Thank you so much for recommending me this Monitor, I got it for 290$ on black Friday week and this was the best gift I've ever gotten from my parents, I'm honestly so happy dude because I've always been stuck to playing with a 60hz monitor for what I believe almost my whole life, so It'll definitely be an experience I'm going to have to get used to playing on a 144hz 1440p monitor haha.

Perfect video man, this monitor was in my list for a long time but I was checking the same monitor with HDR until I realized this one has HDR effect. Now I am gonna order it from Amazon and its like 30 € discount atm. I hope I dont get any dead pixels. Wish me good luck man. Ty for the video <3

I just got this exact display and I'm glad I found this video because I thought the IPS glow in the bottom left was a defect. Glad to see it is a common thing.

Got This Monitor For Christmas and absolutely Love it Only Issue that I had was that it had a Dead Pixel RIGHT in the middle of the Screen got a replacement and No Issues ever since. Highly Reccomend

Thanks for the great review, it really helped me out to decide which monitor i should buy. I just got mine from Amazon today but even though I search for it, i couldn't find your wallpaper :'( . It looks
gorgeous on LG's ips panel. So i would be glad if you can leave the link below :) As for my views, It is a great well-rounded monitor for its price. Colors looks great, smooth and there is no sign of any level of ghosting. Only downside i can think about is IPS Glows. But since it is a common problem which seen in almost all ips panels, it seems like a negligible problem for me.
