You could loosen the top 3 nuts from under the hood with an impact.
Leave 1 nut on.
Lift the truck and finish as shown.

No need to fight with a wrench and fender well.

This was great; I used it as a guide to replace the struts on my 2010 Suburban. This was, perhaps, one of the easiest suspension repairs I've ever made. It look less than an hour for both sides. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the video. Just wanted to add that if you are replacing your sway links at the same the sway links off first and put them on after you have the new struts in. That will llow you more travel room on the suspension flex to be able to align the bottom bolts of the struts to the control arm.

Will this method work for adding a 2 inch leveling strut?

is a Front end Alignment necessary after installing these? I really don't see why. Only thing I can see changing is possibly the ride height. But most everyone says you need an alignment after replacing struts. Thanks.

You put the bolts back on upside down or backwards.... does that matter?

Is it much harder to do it in your driveway without a lift?

The 1AAuto strut does not have the same number of coils in the spring--why?

Should the front of the vehicle now sit about an inch higher than the rear? I replaced rear shocks also.
