Jeff Beck is such a genius. There's nothing he cannot do.

You have no idea what this music can do for the soul of those of us who grew up in the fifties and early 1960s. Jeff Beck is just brilliant.

When I was 9 years old I would watch great guitar players with a sense of wonderment and awe. Now I'm 63 and whenever I watch Jeff play I still have the same feeling of wonder and awe.

Jeff Beck never ceases to amaze me. From Cliff Gallup  to Les Paul, and then his own unique style. Mind blowing!

I grew up with Rockabilly and Psychobilly music. I've since expanded my listening experience but I can't get away from the primal heart and soul of this music. Add to that, the best living guitarist and you have one of the best sets you'll probably ever hear. As for the crowd - I really can't understand why they're not tearing the place apart!!

As an old Tennessee boy it is good time to see our brothers across the pond tearing up some serious rockabilly, hell of a job, keep the faith, Rock On!!!!

Rockabilly with Jeff Beck has a way of separating the "Man" from the boys. The singer Darrell Higham does a great job also. Thanks for the share with such great talent... God Bless Always

Before the distortion on guitar, there was that killer saxophone with those magical reeds tearing it up. Lots of textures with this original rockabilly format. Great stuff!

This is an important video. Having Higham on here adds to it authentic magic. There are no videos - I’ve ever seen of Cliff Gallup playing live with the Bluecaps. To have Beck do note-for-note guitar of Gallup is really a joy for Rockabilly fans. I wonder if the people in the audience knew they were witnessing history in the making. Gallup/Martin/Moore/

Great impromptu set! And even better showcase for Jeff Beck's great 50's rock and pop chops is his live tribute to the late Les Paul at the Iridium Jazz Club in NYC with Darrel Higham and Imelda May. I've got the DVD, and it's a treasure. 🎵👍🎸❤

For those expecting modern Jeff - P L E A S E - he's playing homage to the roots. Without the roots, we have no Rock and Roll as we know it.

He's not interpreting here, or expanding the genre. He is playing it note for note, so we can hear the origins of rock, as he heard it so long ago, and was inspired to pick up the guitar in the first place.

Its even an original era guitar he's playing. Listen for little stuff he picked up and later expanded on, as much attitude as anything.

I've got the originals and this set Really is a tribute to them all! Very happy to run into this, thanks. Makes me think that there are people that understand this history and the foundation of it all that I was luckily enough to live through and still maintain my sanity as well.
