I used to help my mom make these just about every weekend during apple season. They were pretty popular, though not as much as the pocket pies! It's a somewhat secret recipe, so I hope you'll excuse me for not giving exact measurements for everything;)

I made these on Monday, but I was sending them to a friend in another state, so I had to hold off on posting this video so I wouldn't ruin the surprise.
